Lessons designed for younger learners
Many teachers on MusicStudio specialise in teaching children and are experienced at adapting their approach to suit younger students. Lessons are structured to be engaging, clear, and age-appropriate — with patience and encouragement built in.
Learning online from home
Online lessons take place entirely via video call from your child's home. No one comes to your door. Your child sits at their instrument in a familiar environment, which many children find more comfortable than attending in-person lessons.
A parent nearby is recommended
For children of primary school age, we recommend a parent or guardian be in the same room or nearby during lessons. This is good practice for any online activity involving children and gives you peace of mind.
Age-appropriate content
Teachers are expected to deliver age-appropriate lessons at all times. If you ever feel that any aspect of a lesson is not suitable for your child, you should end the session immediately and contact MusicStudio support.
After the lesson
Younger students often benefit from parental involvement in their practice between lessons. Your teacher may suggest short daily exercises — asking your child to show you what they learned can reinforce their progress and keep motivation high.
