Mutual respect

MusicStudio is a community of students, parents, and teachers. We expect everyone on the platform to treat each other with courtesy and respect — during lessons, in messages, and in any other interaction through the platform.

For students and parents

  • Be punctual — join the lesson at the scheduled time.
  • Come prepared — have your instrument ready and, where the teacher has suggested preparation, attempt it beforehand.
  • Communicate clearly — if you need to change or cancel a lesson, do so through the platform with as much notice as possible.
  • Be respectful — listen to your teacher's feedback, even when it is challenging. Constructive criticism is part of learning.

For teachers

  • Be punctual — join the lesson room before the student arrives.
  • Be prepared — have a lesson plan appropriate to the student's level and goals.
  • Communicate professionally — respond to messages promptly and courteously.
  • Provide a professional environment — your background and setup should be appropriate for a teaching session.

Zero tolerance

Harassment, discriminatory language, sexual misconduct, or any other form of abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate suspension of the account. If you experience or witness this, please report it to support immediately.
