Getting started in four steps
MusicStudio is designed to make it easy to find a teacher and start learning. Here is how the process works from start to finish.
Step 1 — Search for a teacher
Go to the Teachers page and filter by instrument, music style, or level. Each teacher has a profile with a photo, a short biography, their experience and qualifications, and usually a short introductory video so you can get a feel for their teaching style before you book.
Step 2 — Choose a teacher
Browse profiles and find someone whose experience and approach suits you. There is no obligation to book — take as long as you need to compare teachers.
Step 3 — Book a 25-minute intro lesson
Every teacher offers a 25-minute introductory lesson at a reduced price. This is a low-commitment way to meet the teacher, ask questions, and decide whether they are the right fit for you. Pick a time slot that suits you, enter your details, and pay securely by card.
Step 4 — Attend online and book regular lessons
You will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the lesson online. If you enjoy the intro lesson, you can book regular 50-minute lessons directly through MusicStudio. There is no obligation to continue if the teacher is not the right match.
