Getting started as a teacher
To start teaching on MusicStudio, you need to complete the teacher onboarding process. Here is how it works.
Step 1 — Sign up as a teacher
Register on MusicStudio and select "I want to teach" when prompted. You will be taken to your teacher dashboard where you can begin the onboarding wizard.
Step 2 — Complete your profile
Work through the onboarding wizard, which covers:
- About — your instruments, styles, levels you teach, and a short bio
- Photo — a clear profile photo
- Qualifications — your musical and teaching qualifications
- Experience — your teaching background
- Description — a longer written description of your teaching approach
- Video — a short introductory video (highly recommended)
- Availability — the days and times you are available to teach
- Pricing — your lesson rate
- Verification — identity verification details
Step 3 — Book your intro interview
As the final step, you will book a short 15-minute introductory call with the MusicStudio team. This is a friendly check-in to confirm your setup and answer any questions.
Step 4 — Await approval
After your interview, the MusicStudio team will review your profile. Once approved, your profile becomes visible in student search results and you can start receiving bookings.
