Absolutely. The track record proves the point!

Dick Charles Studios was the center of rock and roll in the 1960's. So many artists, writers, producers, background singers got their start and learned their craft at DC. I met at least 30 successful people there. Don Kirshner started his career in this studio. He founded so many talents .. too many to name .. but some are as follows : Carol King, Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Tony Orlando, Neil Sedaka, Artie Kaplan, Valerie Simpson plus Ron Dante, Little Eva, Chiffons, Artie Butler, Leslie Miller and, again, too many to name. Thank you Dick Charles for your dedicated work which contributed to so many artist's successful careers.

Inspired yes. Comfortable .. for many it was the 1st time in any recording studio. Maybe many were frightened! But one cannot argue with those artists who became successful during and later on!

Value/Overall: 5

Not anything to brag about, but there was no need for comfort in those days. Get the job done and done right was the object!
